Loughborough Fair is in town and will be here until Saturday night. Please be aware that a number of traffic diversions are in place to accommodate the fair, so allow extra travel time if you are heading that way.

There will be an increased policing presence around the town centre during this period.

If you are going out in the evening, please:

Lock all doors and windows

Keep valuables out of sight

Consider leaving a light on to make your property look occupied

Crimes of Note (Past 7 Days)

Alston Drive, Loughborough – Burglary dwelling. Entry gained by damaging a rear door.

Forman Road, Shepshed – Burglary dwelling. Entry through an insecure door; offender disturbed by occupant.

Britannia Street, Shepshed – Theft from unattended motor vehicle. Entry gained by breaking a window.

Arrest of Note

A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in relation to the theft of a motorbike from Watts Drive, Shepshed, which occurred overnight between 2nd and 3rd November.
